About Summer Programme
This program is hosted by the School of Chemical Sciences (PPSK) Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, and taught by the academic staff from the school. This program is one of the international mobility programs carried out at the School of Chemical Sciences annually to promote the expertise and services available at the Universiti Sains Malaysia and the school in particular, as well as widening the international networking in supporting USM's aspiration to become a world-renowned institution of Higher Learning and a university that is referred to, relevant and respected.

OBJECTIVES
To promote and introduce the expertise and services provided by the School of Chemical Sciences, which are led by lectures in various fields of chemistry.
To expose foreign students to knowledge of chemistry learning, particularly in the use of microscale applications, the exposure to the basic science of glassmaking through the glass-blowing workshop, and the introduction to herbal and plant extract in Malaysia using the chemical concept.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Understand microscale chemistry
Appreciate microscale for safer environments
Understand the basic principles of glass blowing
Conduct simple glass-blowing experiments
Experiences Malaysian cultures in general
Learn multiracial culture in Malaysia
